PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL TOMORROW MORNING...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Trinity River at Trinidad.
* WHEN...Until tomorrow morning.
* IMPACTS...At 33.0 feet, Minor flooding occurs along the right bank
of the river. Low woodlands for one mile along right bank will
begin to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 34.8 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 33.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 33.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage this
evening, but additional rises are possible thereafter.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Trinity River near Long Lake (Oakwood).
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 45.0 feet, flooding of ranches and farm lands along
the river is expected. The Coffield Prison farm and ranch
interests will be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 43.7 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 35.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 35.8 feet early
Sunday afternoon.
