For eastern Utah and western Colorado, here is the latest weather
synopsis
Hot temperatures continue today, with the lower elevations potentially
seeing the hottest temperatures of the year so far. Increasing moisture
will lead to increased chances of showers and thunderstorms over the higher
terrain, mainly favoring areas along the Divide and terrain along and north
of I-70. Main threats with any showers or storms will be gusty outflow
winds and lightning. Look for slightly cooler temperatures tomorrow, along
with more widespread afternoon storm activity.
