...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN CHEYENNE COUNTY IN EAST
CENTRAL COLORADO AND SOUTHWESTERN WALLACE COUNTIES IN WEST CENTRAL
KANSAS THROUGH 900 PM MDT...

At 818 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 16 miles northwest of Weskan to 4 miles
southeast of Cheyenne Wells. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
  Weskan.

This includes Highway 385 between mile markers 142 and 160.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
east central Colorado...and west central Kansas.
