...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WICHITA AND EASTERN GREELEY
COUNTIES THROUGH 845 PM MDT/945 PM CDT/...

At 815 PM MDT/915 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 12 miles northeast of
Tribune to 15 miles south of Horace. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

These storms will remain over mainly rural areas of Wichita and
eastern Greeley Counties, including the following locations...
Marienthal, Lydia, and Selkirk.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT/1000
PM CDT/ for west central Kansas.
