...EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO
8 PM PDT FRIDAY...

.DISCUSSION...A strong ridge of high pressure building over
the region will bring the highest temperatures so far this
year. A heat wave will affect the burn area through Friday
with an Excessive Heat Warning in effect. Humidity will lower
but the winds will be light and terrain driven during the heat
event. Temperatures will lower during the weekend as the ridge
weakens but will remain several degrees above normal.
