Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms impacted Kansas
yesterday evening and overnight. Some of the storms were severe,
with large hail and damaging winds. Locally very heavy rainfall
occurred as well. Predawn temperatures were mostly in the 60s
across the state.

Rain and thunderstorms will exit the region to the east this
morning. Skies will gradually become sunny from north to south
today, with forecast high temperatures in the 70s to low 80s.
Northeast winds at 10 to 20 mph are expected.

A few thunderstorms may impact far western and southwest Kansas this
evening and tonight, but the rest of the state should remain dry.
Forecast low temperatures are mostly in the mid to upper 50s.
