It was a quiet day across much of eastern Kansas before some
showers and storms moved across the area late afternoon. Winds
were out of the south with high temperatures in the mid and upper
80s.

Tonight, strong to severe storms will be possible across the
region. Damaging winds and large hail are the main concerns.
Otherwise expect overnight lows to fall into the low 70s across
much of Oklahoma and southeast Kansas, while portions of western
Nebraska and northeast Colorado fall into the mid 50s.

Tomorrow, highs will vary widely across the region. Temperatures
across portions of northern Oklahoma will climb into the upper 90s
to 100 degrees, while northern Kansas is limited to the upper 70s
and low 80s. Further north into across central Nebraska high
temperatures are expected to remain even cooler in the low 70s.
Showers and storms are expected to develop by tomorrow afternoon
across eastern Colorado and portions of Nebraska. Expect
increasing northeasterly winds across much of the region tomorrow,
with southerly winds remaining across Oklahoma. By tomorrow
night,coverage of showers and storms is expected increase across
the region.
