overnight, with predawn temperatures in the 60s region wide.

Above average temperatures will encompass the region today under
mostly sunny skies. Forecast high temperatures range from the
upper 80s over southeast Kansas, to near 100 degrees over
northwest Kansas. Breezy south to southwest winds are expected,
gusting up to 25 to 30 mph this afternoon.

An isolated thunderstorm is possible over northwest Kansas this
evening. Otherwise, mostly clear and mild weather will persist
overnight, with forecast low temperatures in the 60s and 70s.
Winds will be out of the south at 8 to 15 mph.
