...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN BARTON COUNTY THROUGH
715 PM CDT...

At 624 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Pawnee Rock, or 7 miles northeast of Larned, moving northeast at 40
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Great Bend, Hoisington, Pawnee Rock, Albert, Olmitz, Galatia, Susank,
and Great Bend Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for central
Kansas.
