...Temperatures were slightly above normal for North Platte
in May while temperatures were slightly below normal for
Valentine. Precipitation in May was above normal for North Platte
and below normal for Valentine.

For North Platte, the average daily mean temperature for the month
of May was 59.4 degrees which was 0.9 degrees above the normal of
58.5 degrees. The average daily high temperature for the month of
May was 73.6 degrees which was 0.8 degrees above the normal of
72.8 degrees. The average daily low temperature for May was 45.1
degrees which was 0.9 degrees above the normal 44.2 degrees. No
daily temperature records were set during the month of May for
North Platte.

For Valentine, the average daily mean temperature for the month of
May was 57.6 degrees which was 0.5 degrees below the normal of
58.1 degrees. The average daily high temperature for May was
