The areas affected include... Nearshore Waters from Wilmette Harbor to Calumet Harbor... Nearshore Waters from Calumet Harbor to Michigan City... Open Waters from Wilmette Harbor to Michigan City out to Mid Lake... At 601 PM CDT, Doppler radar and surface observations indicated a front with a sharp northerly wind shift producing a burst of winds to around or even briefly higher than 30 knots. This front was located along a line extending from near Waukegan Harbor to 6 nm east of Wilmette Harbor to 14 nm east of Harrison-Dever Crib, moving south at 40 knots. This front will arrive at the southern end of the lake by 7 PM. Locations impacted include...
