Northwest transport winds this morning will transition to westerly by the early afternoon hours as a lingering frontal boundary sits draped across the Florida Big Bend. Transport winds will predominantly remain around 5-10 mph today. Mixing heights today will build to around 6100ft. These deep mixing heights will be the main driver for high dispersions reaching values in the upper 60s. With deep mixing being present this afternoon, dry air will be allowed to mix down to the surface, which will allow for minimum RH values to drop into the low to mid 40s at the location of the burn. There will be a 30-40 percent chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm later this afternoon along this stalled frontal boundary. These showers/thunderstorms combined with a slowly northward propagating sea breeze circulation could lead to sudden wind shifts at or near the burn location today. Overall, there are no fire weather concerns outside of the threat for an isolated shower/thunderstorm. .TODAY...
