...A STRONG LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WESTERN MADISON AND
CENTRAL BEAVERHEAD COUNTIES THROUGH 345 PM MDT...

At 308 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Twin Bridges to 21 miles north of Monida.
Movement was northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Dillon, Sheridan, Alder, Dell, Laurin, and Beaverhead Rock State
Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
