...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT FRANKLIN AND SOUTHEASTERN OSAGE
COUNTIES THROUGH 1245 AM CDT...

At 1210 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lyndon, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Strong wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Hail damage to outdoor objects and
         vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ottawa, Wellsville, Lyndon, Centropolis, Pomona, Williamsburg,
Quenemo, Melvern, Princeton, Lane, Rantoul, and Pomona Lake.

This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 169 and 198.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for
east central Kansas.
