...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN BROWN COUNTY THROUGH
MIDNIGHT CDT...

At 1131 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Powhattan, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
         around unsecured objects. Hail damage to outdoor objects
         and vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hiawatha, Horton, Everest, Robinson, Powhattan, Willis, and Kickapoo
Reservation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for
northeastern Kansas.
