...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN MERCER COUNTY THROUGH
915 PM CDT...

At 848 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Zap, or 11 miles northwest of Beulah, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Beulah, Zap, and Golden Valley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, seek shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
south central North Dakota.
