Unseasonably warm and humid conditions prevailed across central
and eastern Kansas this afternoon with south to southeast winds
gusting over 35 mph. A dangerous supercell storm moved across
Russell county and produced a tornado along with destructive winds
in excess of 80 mph and tennis ball size hail! Late afternoon
temperatures were mainly in the 80s.

Severe storms will remain possible across portions of mid-America
tonight through Monday with the greatest risk across southern
Nebraska, Kansas and northern Oklahoma.

Low temperatures tonight will fall into the 50s and 60s. Highs on
Monday will generally range from the 80s to lower 90s, except for
cooler 70s in Iowa and Nebraska.
