...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN HOLMES...NORTH
CENTRAL YAZOO AND EAST CENTRAL HUMPHREYS COUNTIES THROUGH 930 PM
CDT...

At 903 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Eden, or 11 miles northeast of Yazoo City, moving north at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Thornton and Tolarville around 910 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
central Mississippi.
