Through 1 pm, a cluster of decaying stratiform rain with some
embedded heavier thunderstorms will continue to move north at near 20
knots over the Outer Gulf waters, surrounding the Dry Tortugas, and
Straits of Florida west of the Island Chain. The strongest showers
are currently located south of Cosgrove Shoal Light. Mariners
encountering these showers can expect moderate to heavy rain reducing
visibility, gusts between 25 to 30 knots, and occasional lightning
strikes.
