...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN ITAWAMBA...
SOUTHEASTERN LEE AND NORTHWESTERN MONROE COUNTIES THROUGH 615 PM
CDT...

At 552 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Evergreen, or 7 miles south of Tombigbee State Park, moving southeast
at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Amory, Shannon, Smithville, New Salem, Evergreen, Nettleton, Bigbee,
Cardsville, Jacinto, and Richmond.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
northeastern Mississippi.
