Fire Weather Planning Forecast for East Tennessee...Southwest
Virginia...and Extreme Southwest North Carolina
National Weather Service Morristown TN
258 PM EDT Mon May 27 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Some isolated to scattered showers may develop over the mountainous
areas this afteroon and evening, but otherwise dry conditions are
expected for the remainder of the week. In addition to the dry
conditions, temperatures are expected to cool off as well, making
for pleasant conditions with low humidity values, especially
Wednesday and Thursday. While afternoon highs may remain close to
seasonal values, overnight temperatures will be several degrees
below normal Wednesday and Thursday nights. Rainfall looks to make a
return during the weekend.
