...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN CADDO PARISH...
SOUTHEASTERN HARRISON AND NORTHEASTERN PANOLA COUNTIES THROUGH 1230
PM CDT...

At 1152 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Waskom, or 16 miles southeast of Marshall, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Shreveport, Greenwood, Waskom, Elysian Fields, Jonesville,
Keithville, Spring Ridge, and Cross Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
