.Short term...
TONIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT...An active trough to the southwest
of the islands will bring increasing winds and heavy rain on
Thursday night through Friday night. The strong high pressure to
the far southwest will generate increasing trades across the
islands tonight through Friday night. Gentle trades will increase
to breezy flow on Thursday morning before becoming strong and
gusty on Thursday night. These strong winds will persist through
Friday night and the weekend. Showers will slowly move across the
islands tonight and persist through Friday night. Heavy rain will
move over the islands on Thursday night and remain through Friday
night.

.Long term...
SATURDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...The active trough will hold heavy
rain through Saturday night. The trough will slightly shift north
on Sunday and this will slightly diminish showers to scattered
through Monday. As the trough again descend over the islands on
Monday night, showers will increase to widespread through Tuesday
night. Strong winds will persist through Monday. As the trough
descends over the islands, winds will diminish to breezy flow on
Monday night. These breezy trades will persist through Wednesday.

.Marine...
Rough seas of 7 to 9 feet will remain tonight before build 9 to 12
feet on Thursday. South swells will build hazardous seas and surfs
across the territory on Thursday. As trades continue to increase
to strong flow, seas will generate dangerous surfs on Thursday
night through Monday. Seas are expected to subside 9 to 12 feet on
Monday night.
