...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN WAUPACA AND CENTRAL
OUTAGAMIE COUNTIES THROUGH 815 PM CDT...
At 734 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Clintonville, or 16 miles south of Shawano, moving southeast at 40
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Appleton, Kaukauna, Little Chute, Kimberly, Black Creek, Darboy,
Combined Locks, Wrightstown, Shiocton, and Bear Creek.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
