Western Avoyelles Parish in central Louisiana... Northern Evangeline Parish in central Louisiana... Rapides Parish in central Louisiana... Northeastern Allen Parish in southwestern Louisiana... Eastern Vernon Parish in west central Louisiana... * Until 615 PM CDT. * At 306 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1.25 to 2.75 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar.
