...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL MONDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Calcasieu River near Oberlin.

* WHEN...Until Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Moderate flooding will occur with several
  access roads to the river flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 12.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow evening to a crest of 14.4 feet early Sunday
    morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Monday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:15 PM CDT Thursday was 40.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 42.3 feet
    Saturday morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 36.0 feet.

  Sands Road has about one to three feet of water covering the road.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 33.7 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:15 PM CDT Thursday was 33.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 36.0 feet early
    Sunday afternoon. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 30.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY TUESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Calcasieu River near Glenmora.

* WHEN...Until early Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Some roads upstream from Glenmora,
  including Strothers Crossing Road near the community of Calcasieu
  and Price Crossing Road near Hineston have two to three feet of
  water over the road and are subject to being closed. Flooding of
  forested areas near the river will also occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 14.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:45 PM CDT Thursday was 14.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Monday evening and continue falling to 11.9 feet Tuesday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

    ending at 9:15 PM CDT Thursday was 5.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 4.3 feet Tuesday
    evening.

  forecast.

* WHERE...Sabine River near Deweyville.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 27.0 feet, Widespread moderate lowland flooding will
  occur. Homes in Deweyville closest to the river are flooded.
  Flooding of homes in the Indian Lakes and River Oaks sections will
  also occur. Low-lying roads and a few homes in Southwest
  Beauregard Parish have some flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 25.1 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:45 PM CDT Thursday was 25.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 26.6 feet early
    Tuesday afternoon. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
