This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southeast New Mexico,
southwest Texas and western Texas.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

A Heat Advisory is in effect this afternoon and early evening for
Eddy County and the Guadalupe Mountains south to the Davis
Mountains,
Marfa Plateau, Presidio Valley, and the Big Bend Region.

Lightning from isolated thunderstorms this afternoon across the
higher terrain to the west may pose a risk of fire starts where
fuels remain dry.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Hazardous heat is possible each day through Tuesday.

Lightning from isolated diurnal thunderstorms in the Davis Mountains
each afternoon could pose a risk of fire starts.
