.DISCUSSION...An upper level trough will pass to our north as a
dry cold front crosses over the fire area this morning to provide
cooler temperatures, improved afternoon humidities, and breezy
winds. Winds will be increasing through the morning, especially
after 9 AM as the front approaches. Winds out of the west will
peak between noon and 5 PM, with gusts around 30 mph anticipated.
Winds will slowly slacken this evening, with winds below 5 mph
after midnight and extending through much of the morning on
Wednesday. Drier and cooler conditions expected behind the cold
front on Wednesday, with lighter winds out of the northeast.
