The National Weather Service office in Shreveport LA will conclude to storm survey today in portions of DeSoto Parish and if time allows, will conduct an additional survey in Nacogdoches County. The survey is in relation to the severe thunderstorms that moved through these areas during the late afternoon and evening hours of Thursday, May 30th, 2024. A final assessment including results of the survey are expected to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information Statement by late this afternoon or evening.
