...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN OGLALA LAKOTA AND
SOUTHWESTERN BENNETT COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM MDT...

At 533 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles east of Wakpamni, or 18 miles northeast of Gordon, moving east
at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Oglala
Lakota and southwestern Bennett Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM MDT for
southwestern South Dakota.
