Strong northwest winds will continue through early this evening
across much of the Dakotas and Minnesota on the back side of a
large low pressure system in the Great Lakes region. A few showers
are possible this evening in southern Manitoba and Minnesota. Dry
weather and mostly sunny skies will prevail over western parts of
the region. Lows tonight will be mainly in the 40s and 50s Region
wide.

A weak weather system will cross the Northern Plains on Friday
with a low chance of showers or a thunderstorm across the Dakotas,
but then mostly dry weather is expected this weekend. Near to
slightly below normal temperatures are in store for the weekend
across the region before much warmer temperatures become possible
by the middle of next week.
