...LINE OF SHOWERS WITH EMBEDDED STRONG GUSTS WILL IMPACT
CLINTON...NORTHEASTERN FRANKLIN AND ESSEX COUNTIES THROUGH 745 PM
EDT...

At 645 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of showers
extending from 6 miles northwest of Malone to near Debar Mountain to
9 miles northeast of Adirondack Regional Airport to 7 miles
southeast of Newcomb with embedded strong wind gusts. Movement was
northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated. The New York State Mesonet in Malone, New
         York measured a 36 mph wind gust.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Lake Placid, Peru, Beekmantown, Schuyler Falls, Moriah, Saranac,
Altona, Wilmington, Elizabethtown, Keene, Minerva, Ellenburg Depot,
Bryants Mill, Schroon Lake, Burke, Port Henry, Churubusco, Au Sable
Forks, Mount Marcy, and Keeseville.

This includes Interstate 87 between mile markers 82 and 153.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
