At 524 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Fowlerville to near Stockbridge to Jackson. Movement was east at 60 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Howell, Chelsea, and Pinckney around 530 PM EDT. Brighton, Dexter, and Hamburg around 535 PM EDT. Ann Arbor, Manchester, and Whitmore Lake around 540 PM EDT. South Lyon and Dixboro around 545 PM EDT. Ypsilanti, Saline, and Salem around 550 PM EDT. Willis around 600 PM EDT.
