289 FNUS53 KLMK 070736 FWFLMK Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central Kentucky and Southern Indiana National Weather Service Louisville KY 336 AM EDT Fri Jun 7 2024 .DISCUSSION...An unseasonably dry air mass will settle over the region today, with afternoon relative humidity values ranging from 30 to 35 percent. Winds will continue to be breezy out of the west and northwest today, with sustained winds of 10 to 15 mph and gusts of 20 mph expected. Temperatures this afternoon will be slightly below climatological normals, with highs topping out in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Tonight, a system over the central Plains will approach the region from the northwest after midnight. This system could bring a few rain showers Saturday morning, with additional rounds of showers and a few thunderstorms expected through Sunday.
