...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN COFFEY AND SOUTHERN
LYON COUNTIES THROUGH 515 AM CDT...

At 436 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles south of
Cottonwood Falls to 6 miles southwest of Madison to 4 miles south of
Toronto. Movement was northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
         around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor
         objects and vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Olpe and Gridley.

This includes Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 117 and 125.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
