Critical fire weather conditions are expected over northeast areas this afternoon until sunset, but fuel moisture is thought to be too high, and ERC`s are thought to be too low, to warrant a Red Flag Warning. Dryline thunderstorms are forecast on the far eastern plains today, then also with a gusty and moist backdoor front over northeast areas tonight. The backdoor front will push through gaps in the central mountain chain with a gusty east wind below canyons from Santa Fe to Albuquerque Wednesday, then even stronger winds there Wednesday night. Gulf moisture will increase thunderstorm chances starting along and east of the central mountain chain Wednesday, then areawide during the latter half of the week.
