...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN SANDOVAL AND WEST
CENTRAL SANTA FE COUNTIES UNTIL 430 PM MDT...

At 407 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
San Felipe Pueblo, or 7 miles northeast of Bernalillo, moving east
at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Northeastern Rio Rancho, Bernalillo, San Felipe Pueblo, Santa Ana
  Pueblo, Coronado State Monument, Enchanted Hills, Algodones and
  Placitas.

This includes the following highways...
Highway 550 between Mile Markers 3 and 7.
Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 243 and 254.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

Motorists can expect brief but sudden changes in visibility and
ponding of water on roadways as storms move through the area.
