This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota,
central South Dakota, north central South Dakota and northeast
South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A clipper like system will move through the area today into tonight
will deliver a round of light snow to north central and northeast
South Dakota and a wintry mix to central South Dakota. This system
will generate some blustery northerly winds, including gusts up to 35
mph tonight into Wednesday that will produce subzero wind chills on
Wednesday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Cold temperatures persist early Thursday with readings falling into
the teens below zero with wind chills as cold as 25 below zero in
portions of the James River valley and surrounding areas of
northeast South Dakota.
