.DISCUSSION...

Winds will continue to turn northwesterly across the region behind
the passing cold front and then shift around to the east by
Wednesday afternoon. Rain and storms this morning will taper off
west to east. Dry weather expected tonight and Wednesday. Minimum
relative humidity ranges from 40-70%, lowest over south central SD.
For Wednesday, min RH will range between 40-50%

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture content of grasses,
and other dry organic material on the ground, indicate that the
probability of a fast moving fire is low.  Outdoor burning under
these conditions can usually be performed with reasonable safety
precautions, but should be monitored.


The outlook for Juneteenth afternoon...The grassland fire danger
index will reach the low category.
