.DISCUSSION...

A bit of a steady south to southwest breeze this morning will turn
more southwest to westerly this afternoon. Winds will be strongest
across the Sisseton Hills area. Temperatures will remain rather
chilly for one more day before a bit of a brief warmup is possible
on Tuesday. A chance for light snow or a wintry mix will accompany
the arrival of that warmer air Tuesday afternoon into early
Wednesday. Another shot of colder air moves in around the middle of
the week along with breezy conditions.

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture content of grasses,
and other dry organic material on the ground, indicate that the
probability of a fast moving fire is low. Outdoor burning under
these conditions can usually be performed with reasonable safety
precautions, but should be monitored.

The outlook for Tuesday afternoon...The grassland fire danger index
will reach the low category.
