Radio Weather Synopsis
National Weather Service Aberdeen SD
305 AM CST Wed Dec 10 2025 /205 AM MST Wed Dec 10 2025/

Falling snow and strong northwest winds 25 to 40 mph with higher
gusts over far northeast South Dakota into west central Minnesota
will continue to promote occasional periods of reduced visibility in
falling and blowing snow early this morning. By mid-day, dry
conditions and much lighter winds should be the order of the day.
However, the next low pressure system to sweep through the northern
plains will start moving into the listening area later tonight into
Thursday morning. This system is expected to bring a mixture of snow,
sleet and freezing rain to much of central and north central South
Dakota and a portion of northeast South Dakota from late tonight
through Thursday afternoon.

High temperatures today will only top out in the teens and 20s across
most of the region. South central South Dakota could see readings
warming up into the 30s. Low temperatures tonight are not expected to
fall off much from this afternoon`s readings, as warmer air and
increasing cloud cover combine to hold temperatures steady, or
perhaps start a slow warm up overnight.
