Radio Weather Synopsis
National Weather Service Aberdeen SD
335 AM CST Sat Nov 29 2025 /235 AM MST Sat Nov 29 2025/

Snow will continue to fall across the listening area today as a storm
system to our south strengthens and moves northeast into the upper
midwest. Additional snowfall accumulations will range from 1 to 3
inches across central south dakota to between 2 and 5 inches across
the james valley and points east into west central minnesota. Winds
will start to pick up out of the north and northwest through the day,
especially across parts of central and south central south dakota
which will lead to blowing and drifting and locally reduced
visibility. The snow will taper off and come to an end from west to
east this afternoon and early evening. High pressure will begin to
build into the region the second half of the weekend sending a chunk
of arctic air in our direction for Sunday and Monday. Wind chill
values will approach the 15 to 20 below range overnight tonight and
again late Sunday into Monday morning.

Highs today will reach the teens to around 20 degrees. Lows tonight
will fall into the single digits above and below zero. Highs on
Sunday will remain stuck in the upper single digits to mid teens.
