Radio Weather Synopsis
National Weather Service Aberdeen SD
145 PM CST Fri Nov 21 2025 /1245 PM MST Fri Nov 21 2025/

Low pressure to the north will drag warm air into the region tonight,
and then try to sneak a dry cold front down into northeast South
Dakota and west central Minnesota Saturday morning. It looks like the
warm air is going to win out, though, forcing the cold frontal
boundary to retreat back to the north and east Saturday night. Should
see warmer than normal temperatures lasting through the weekend.

The next chance of light precipitation does not show up until Monday,
lingering into the day on Tuesday. Precipitation is expected to begin
as rain on Monday. If precipitation persists into the day on Tuesday,
conditions should cool down enough to switch things over to snow
before ending. Much cooler air will find its way into the region
Monday night into Tuesday, as a strong cold front blasts through the
Dakotas and Minnesota, turning winds to the northwest. There is
potential for winds in excess of 30 mph sustained with gusts in
excess of 45 mph Monday night into Tuesday.

Low temperatures tonight should fall into the upper 20s to mid 30s.
High temperatures on Saturday should climb into the upper 40s to mid
50s.
