Radio Weather Synopsis
National Weather Service Aberdeen SD
154 PM CST Thu Dec 4 2025 /1254 PM MST Thu Dec 4 2025/

Strong winds over northeastern South Dakota will continue through the
afternoon before weakening this evening. These winds could cause
blowing and drifting snow, which may briefly reduce visibilities down
to a mile or less at times during the afternoon. A small clipper
system will move through the listening area tonight into Friday
morning, bringing scattered snow flurries. Snowfall amounts will be
less than an inch in most areas. South Central South Dakota will be
slightly warmer, and this could cause wintry mix to freezing rain
during the night. This freezing rain could cause a light glaze and
make surfaces slippery during the morning, so be cautious.

Another clipper system will move southeast through the area on
Saturday, with another round of light snow likely. Lows tonight will
fall into the teens and 20s, and high temperatures tomorrow will
warm into the upper 20s to mid 30s.
