.DISCUSSION...Dry conditions continue for the panhandle as high pressure
remains in place over the gulf. A marine layer continues to work
into the Inner channels limiting temperatures and raising relative
humidities. Farther inland, warm and dry conditions remain,
especially towards locations such as Haines and Skagway. Any
chance of precipitation in these areas looks to remain low even
with the potential for decaying showers from Canada. Any showers
that do make it into the area is not expected to bring much in
the way of rain. The high over the gulf is currently expected to
break down Thursday into Friday allowing for the return of
potential rain by the weekend.
