Issued at 1109 PM CST Mon Nov 10 2025 - Above average temperatures expected this week with breezy to gusty conditions possible ahead of the new system Friday. - A new weather system for the weekend could bring cooler conditions and low chances for precipitation. && .SHORT TERM... (Tonight through Wednesday night) Issued at 1109 PM CST Mon Nov 10 2025 Dry conditions continue to prevail across the Panhandles as models see a ridge continue to hold over most of the Southwestern United States. This ridge is expected to slowly deteriorate over the course of the work week with most models seeing a more zonal upper-level flow take over. This flow will allow for the Panhandles to begin to warm up tomorrow with afternoon highs quickly returning to the 70s. However, a weak cold front is expected to follow that afternoon that will help regulate temperature for Wednesday with highs sticking closer low 70s. && .LONG TERM... (Thursday through next Monday) Issued at 1109 PM CST Mon Nov 10 2025 Our dry weather pattern continues to hold for the Panhandles as models seeing zonal upper-level flow hold under the deteriorating ridge. Expect temperatures to warm back into the 70s as we close out the work week with chances at some low 80s in some of our warmer locations. However, weather may not stay quite for long as model agreement has begun to see a closer upper-level low push in across the Southwestern Untied States and into the Southern Great Plains by this weekend. While this new low could bring chance of more active weather for the Panhandles for the weekend, it could also lead to some breezy to gusty conditions ahead of it on Friday. Still there is a lot of uncertainty present with this system, which can see impacts for the Panhandles increase or decrease over the next few days. For now, latest ensemble runs have suggest only a 20 to 30% chances of seeing any measurable precipitation for the weekend, with more confidence present for temperatures to slowly cool off behind this system. && .AVIATION... (06Z TAFS) Issued at 1109 PM CST Mon Nov 10 2025 Dry and relatively quite conditions look to hold through the overnight with all terminals expected to stay VFR. For tomorrow afternoon, a weak cold front is expected to push through all the terminals. However, the only impact will be surface winds shifting back to a northerly direction for the late afternoon and evening hours. && .AMA WATCHES/WARNINGS/ADVISORIES... TX...None.
