...Lake effect snow showers continue this afternoon...

Lingering lake effect snow showers continue this afternoon across
portions of eastern upper Michigan, most numerously from near
Whitefish Point southeastward to Sault Ste. Marie.

Additional accumulation of up to 2 inches is expected. Snow-
covered and slippery roads, along with occasional significant drops
in visibility, will lead to pockets of hazardous travel.

Please exercise caution if traveling, and remember to take it
slow in ice and snow!
