...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN YATES COUNTY
THROUGH 945 PM EDT...

At 909 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Benton, or near Penn Yan, moving northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Penn Yan, Benton, Rushville, Ferguson Corners, Bellona Stn, and Milo
Mills.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
