...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN SUSQUEHANNA AND
NORTHWESTERN WAYNE COUNTIES THROUGH 945 PM EDT...

At 911 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Susquehanna, or 12 miles east of Montrose, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Jackson, Susquehanna, Susquehanna Depot, New Milford, Ararat,
Lanesboro, Thompson, Union Dale, Starrucca, and Gibson.

This includes the following highway exits...
 Pennsylvania Interstate 81 between 219 and 223.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
