Marginal fire weather conditions are possible this afternoon as relative humidities drop between 15-18 percent along the I-25 corridor and plains. Light southwest winds remain below warning criteria between 12-15 mph. High based showers are possible for the high country until early evening. Smoke dispersal reaches good to excellent across the region this afternoon. LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Sunday through Wednesday... It will be mainly dry Sunday and Monday with only a slight chance of afternoon thunderstorms on Tuesday over the higher terrain. Winds will also increase over the higher terrain Monday into Tuesday Temperatures will remain above normal Sunday and Monday. A cold front will move across the plains on Tuesday dropping temperatures back to seasonal levels.
